Why Goodbye

I want to cry on your shoulders
I want to shed all my tears
I want to cry my heart out
Knowing we can't work it out

Why do we have to say bye
When yesterdays seem alright
Love hurts us so many times
Please let’s keep our love alive

Why so soon you say goodbye
You hurt me most in my lowest times
Yet nothing I can do but sigh
and let you go even if I cry

I love you so much believe me
I die slowly with this agony
Much more when i could see
your loving eyes staring at me

I'm sorry girl for all my mistakes
I am begging you to stay
But I just love you truly
So I’ll just set you free.

Loving and letting go

Love will always be the sweetest feeling you could feel. When you’re in love, the world is always bright and life is so light to carry. Everything is so easy and there is always a certain glow in your eyes. When you’re in love, you don’t seem to care for the deficiency of the person you love. It is always a great feeling that you wish would be forever.

However, there is always the risk of falling in love. One risk would be getting hurt. And a big part of getting hurt is letting go. However, if you look at the good side of it, getting hurt is a way to mold your personality. Letting go not just of your ill-feelings but the person whom you offered love and care is very much painful. Nevertheless, you might not know it, the feeling of getting hurt is molding you to become a stronger person, a better person, a more mature person.

I do have my share of loving and letting go. When I look back those days when I was so in love and it turn out that I have to let go, I would now smile and couldn’t help but be grateful to the persons who caused me pains and aches. Without them hurting me, I would have not survived the storms in my life that could have made me crumble like a helpless uprooted tree. Although there are events which you wish to have not took place, but still remains the fact that there are things which really might not meant to be. After all, as the line of song goes, “what matters most, is that we loved at all.”

TRIBUTE TO MY FATHER

He was a strong person

Whom I always depended on

He was rude at times

Yet I love him deep inside

He showed great love to us

Doing all kinds of work to survive us

He never complained about life

For he hoped we’ll succeed in life

Yet fate let him to suffer

Two years of agony and fear

Of the cancer he kept us unaware

He doesn’t want us to be depressed as well

He died slowly but peacefully

He went to face God with all humility

To my dear father whom I’ll never forget

his loving ways I’ll forever appreciate

When I Die

When I die, I beg you not to cry

For I’ll just be on the other side

Enjoying serenity and solitude therein

Where doubts and fears are inexistent

When I die, please don’t be sad

It may be gloomy but please be glad

For I’ll just be there waiting

‘til fate brings us close to each other again

When I die, please rejoice, will you?

Fill your hearts with laughter overflow

Drinking and merrying I hope you’ll be

I want to bring along happy memories in my journey

When I die, I’d like to leave this piece

Expressing to you my gratitude and gladness

In making my life on earth worth treasuring for

Bye for now and know that I love you all.

DESIDERATA (reprint)

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,

and remember what peace there may be in silence

As far as possible, without surrender,

be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly,

and listen to others,

even to the dull and ignorant,

they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons;

they are vexations to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others,

you may become vain or bitter,

for always there will be greater

and lesser person than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble.

It’s a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs,

for the world is full of trickery.

But let this not blind you to what virtue there is,

many persons strive for high ideals,

and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.

Especially do not feign affection.

Neither be cynical about love;

for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,

it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,

gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit

to shield you in sudden misfortune.

But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.

Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline,

be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe

no less than the trees and the stars.

You have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you,

no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,

whatever you conceived him to be.

And whatever your labors and aspirations,

in the noisy confusion of life,

keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams,

It is still a beautiful world.

Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

INSPIRED

I was hooked into blogging just recently. I came across on a lot of blogs before but I never thought myself will see the beauty in it until I get to read the blog of one lady lawyer, who's admired by most if not all of the members in the forum which I am a member of. She gave tribute to the forum master, through her blog, for the effort in gathering people with the same views specifically on legal matters. It was then that I was inspired to make my own blog as a way of expressing my ideas, emotions, views and whatever I desire to post. So here I am, trying to develop my writing skill as well as invite readers to criticize or give comments to my write-ups. I will not focus much on certain issue or certain line of writing but my blog will be a variety of style on essay, poem, commentary among others.

So I invite everyone to please help me develop my writing skill through your comments and suggestions. Just be honest about how you view my work for anyway we don't see each other, right? So 'till here for now and see you around!
